Emerson is a trans/gender-variant experimental poet, artist, writer and journalist based in Los Angeles. His work is a thematic flotsam of sexual deviance, gender variance, marginalization, and states of being.
Emerson’s writing has appeared in CA Conrad's Jupiter 88, The Huffington Post, Work Magazine, TheNew York Observer, Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Anthology of Trans Poetry and Poetics and elsewhere. He is also the 2013 recipient of the kari edwards fellowship through the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.

SA Smythe is a black British tenderqueer currently living in Santa Cruz and pursuing a PhD in History of Consciousness. SA Smythe is the Reviews Editor for Critical Contemporary Culture Journal, and a contributing curator/writer at okayafrica. SA does translation work and organises in queer of colour feminist, crafting, and writing collectives in the US, Italy, and Berlin. A new collection of multilingual prose poems and critical essays on pleasure, absence, and aberrance is forthcoming in 2014. SA is a part of _the soft anonymous_, a queer literary collective.
